Exposed Roots, 2014 - 2015

 

Exposed roots is composed by 3 photographs taken between 2014 and 2015. It is the first project after moving to Barcelona. The series is intimately linked with my experience as an immigrant and intends to establish a parallelism with plants ripped off their place. For the production the plants were uprooted and the vegetables exposed to germinate. Both were supposed to be out of the place they belong, in the air, unfixed and exposed.
