Movement, 2014

 

Movements is composed by two drawings and two videos. At first, the drawings were created with the only purpose of constructing the animations, but have later adquired their part on the project. “Beat” and “Walk” raise from the idea of exploring the basic voluntary and involuntary movements we perform constantly. This work was generated not only with the intention of drawing the accions as an act of perceiving oneself, but also with the intention of taking notion of the fact that many of our moves are involuntary. The four pieces can be presented together as an installation, or independently one from another.
